plastering is used for the final layer of finish before the surface is painted, fresh plaster once dried (Turns a very light pink) needs to have a mist coat of paint (50/50 emulsion mixed with water) before applying your desired paint colour to the wall / Ceiling.
This process is used for Ceilings (Using Screws to fix to Joists) or directly onto Walls (Using board adhesive) to build out a plastering surface for adding angle beads and skimming to finish.
This process is normally used for Extensions and New Builds it involves the mixing of semi wet sharp sand and cement usually with fibres added to stop cracking when dry. There's also a Latex levelling compound for levelling floors prior to laying Tiles.
The last step in any build. This phase includes site clean-up, I'll always try to keep mess to a minimum ensuring carpets are covered, and you are satisfied with any work i have carried out.
